Water Soluble Essential Oils – WSEO

Water Soluble Essential Oils is a powerful blend of Essential Oils which aid in the prevention and relief of stress and stress-related disorders, and assists animals to lower excessive mucus within their own respiratory tract.


Mint Oil:

Mint oil is excellent for fatigue associated with heat stress and general respiratory disorders, as well as dry coughs, sinus congestion, bronchitis and pneumonia.

For the digestive system, mint oil is effective for a range of ailments, as it stimulates the gall bladder and the secretion of bile.

Eucalyptus Oil:

The health benefits of eucalyptus oil can be attributed to its anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, antiseptic, antibacterial and stimulating medicinal properties.

Eucalyptus oil is effective for treating a number of respiratory problems including cough, nasal congestion, and bronchitis. Eucalyptus oil is also antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and decongestant in nature, which makes it a good ingredient for many medicines for treating respiratory problems.


Menthol stimulates the body’s cold receptors, producing a cooling sensation when it is inhaled. Menthol does not actually change the skin’s temperature, but merely produces a feeling of cold, and helps control the perception of pain.

Another important property of this compound is that it can act as a counter-irritant, that is, a substance that causes mild irritation or inflammation in one place, distracting attention from pain in another

Menthol suppresses the urge to cough and creates a sensation of increased openness in the nasal passages in animals suffering from nasal congestion, although it appears to have no actual decongestant effect.

Dosage rate: 200 mls : 1 000 lts drinking water. Mix well into header tank.

Alternatively, apply via dosing equipment at a rate of 0.02%.

In the case of Heat Stress, WSEO’s can be applied via aerial application  using 200 ml : 10 lts water.

NB: Avoid using WSEO’s with live vaccines. WSEO’s should be withdrawn 48 hours prior to administration of live vaccines, and re-applied 48 hours post application of live vaccine.
